Privacy and local-only design

Your travel history is sensitive. It stays with you.

• Encrypted database with a key held in the phone's secure storage
• Evidence files encrypted and excluded from cloud backup
• No account needed for the free app
• No analytics on trip data and none on this website
• The rules update fetch sends no user data

What we do not have

There is no DayCount EU server holding your trips, so there is nothing for us to leak, sell or hand over. The trade-off is that backups are your responsibility, which is why CSV export exists.

What third parties can see

Free accounts use Google AdMob for ads, which may use device identifiers if you consent. Purchases use RevenueCat, and signing in uses Firebase Authentication. None of them receive your trips. The privacy policy lists exactly what each one does.
